Using the Product Catalogue

The Newcomputers.com.au website has been designed to make Internet shopping for your computer needs easy. The easiest way to browse the product catalogue is by category. Simply click on one of the main categories on the navigation bar to browse items and subcategories. Clicking ?View? on a selected item takes you to the detailed page for that item.

The majority of items in our product catalogue have specifications, detailed product information as well as stock availability and links to manufacturer websites to assist your item selection and save you time.
Using Search

Alternatively you may wish to use the Search feature to find a specific product. Simply enter your search string into the search input box located on the right underneath the subcategory listing and press enter.

You may also use the advanced search which is accessible via the ?Search? button on the navigation bar. The advanced search allows you to search for items from specific categories or by specific manufacturers.
Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart

To purchase items using our Shopping Cart, simply follow the steps listed below:

1. Find an item that interests you.
2. Click the "Add to Cart" button on any item's product detail page, or the "Buy" button on the product listing pages.
3. Click the "Continue shopping" button if you want to buy more items.
4. When you've finished adding items to your Shopping Cart, click the "View Cart" link found at the top right of every page just underneath the navigation bar.
5. Click the "Check Out" button to fill out the order form and complete your order.

If you want to modify your order before you complete the check out process, here's how:

* Want to buy multiple quantities of an item in your Shopping Cart?
Change the number in the "Quantity" box and click the "Update Cart" button at the top or bottom of the cart.
* Want to remove an item from your Shopping Cart?
Change the quantity of that item to 0 in your cart.
* Prefer to wait until another day to buy some of the items in your Shopping Cart?
To ensure that your Shopping Cart is saved, simply log into the website using your existing email address and password. If you are a new customer to Newcomputers.com.au, you will need to create a new user account first. Items in your Shopping Cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on the item's product detail page. Please note that this price may differ from the price the item held when you first placed it in your cart.

Processing Your Order at the Check Out

When you've finished adding items to your Shopping Cart, completing your order is as easy as following these simple steps:

1. Click the "View Cart" link found at the top right of every page just underneath the navigation bar.
2. Once you?re happy with the items in your Shopping Cart, click the "Check Out" button to begin the Check Out process.
3. Existing Customers
If you?re an existing Newcomputers.com.au customer or already have a user account, simply log in using your email address and password.
4. New Customers
If you don't have an existing account with Newcomputers.com.au, creating one is easy:
Enter a valid email address. This is the address which will be used to contact you and send order confirmations.
Supply a password that is a minimum of 6 characters long.
5. Shipping Method
This section allows you to choose the freight option that suits you best. You can choose from; Next Day, Three Day, or Rural. Alternatively you may choose to collect your order from our store.
6. Billing/Shipping Details
Simply enter your billing and shipping address. If your shipping address is the same as your billing address, please check Use Billing Address. Otherwise if you are sending items to family or friends or if your shipping address is different to your billing address, please enter it below.
7. Payment Details
Select your payment method. Newcomputers.com.au accepts a variety of credit cards as well as Direct Deposit. If you are collecting your order from our store, you may also choose to pay in store.
8. Order Confirmation
Please ensure that you verify your order items, shipping details, and payment details before continuing. Once you are happy that all the details are correct, click the "Place Order" button to submit your order to Newcomputers.com.au.
9. Order Placement Confirmation
Once your order has been submitted to Newcomputers.com.au, a confirmation page will be displayed advising that your order has successfully been received. An automated order confirmation will immediately be emailed to you for your records.

Your Account

The Your Account page is accessible by clicking on the "Your Account" link found at the top right of every page just underneath the navigation bar.

Enhanced facilities for accessing your complete account information coming soon. Newcomputers.com.au customers will soon be able to manage their account information, view complete order histories and check the status of orders.

To access your existing shopping cart, simply login with your existing email address and password.

If you don't have an existing account with Newcomputers.com.au, creating one is easy.
